LAMDA Success
Our English department have been working with LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Art) to deliver a qualification in communication and performance.
Over 50 students from Years 7 - 11 have taken part in the qualification which involved them in committing to regular lunchtime sessions each week. Having recently sat their examinations, we are delighted that all students successfully passed and were awarded top grades. All grades were either at Distinction or Merit level with several students achieving very close to 100% in their examination. One student in particular is progressing to the silver medal award during the remainder of the summer term.
This represents a fantastic achievement as the qualification is highly valued by employers and higher education institutes. It also provides our students with UCAS points which will be very useful to them in the future.
